What affects the price?
The biggest cost drivers, in order:
- Suite choice. A basic suite from a builder's merchant starts around £500. Designer suites can easily reach £3,000+. Tap and shower brassware can double the cost on their own.
- Tile choice and area. Standard ceramic at £20/m². Porcelain or large-format from £45/m². Natural stone, considerably more. Floor-to-ceiling tiling roughly doubles tiling cost vs splashbacks only.
- Layout changes. Moving the WC, bath or shower means moving waste and supply pipework — that's a job on its own.
- Property age and condition. Older Bridgnorth properties often need pipework replacement, plaster repair or floor levelling. We'll always flag this at quote stage.

Why are your quotes ranges and not fixed prices?
Because the price genuinely depends on what you choose and what we find. A mid-range suite costs around £600. A bespoke stone bath can cost £3,000+. Same goes for tile choice. We give you a fixed written quote after a site visit — that price is what you pay unless you change something or we uncover something genuinely unexpected (which we always discuss before doing any extra work).
Are old houses more expensive to fit out?
Sometimes, yes. Many older properties in Bridgnorth, especially in High Town, have original cast iron pipework, lath and plaster walls, and uneven floors. We'll always check during the site visit and tell you upfront if it's likely to add cost. Honesty before the job, not surprises during.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes — a small deposit (typically 10–25% depending on the size of the job) secures the booking and covers any product orders. The remainder is staged through the project, with the final payment made on completion and your sign-off.
